Temporary Asphalt Path Installation on Sep 11

Please be advised that a temporary asphalt path will be installed between the E Gate Loop and the southeast stairs leading to the BLC Plaza on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Scope of Work:

• Removal of existing woodchip surface along the current pedestrian path
• Installation of a new 6-foot-wide temporary asphalt path from the E Gate Loop to the southeast BLC stairs

Paths Impacted:

• The woodchip pathway will be closed to pedestrians during installation
• A detour route will be posted redirecting pedestrians to the BLC stairs
• ADA Pathway adjacent to the work area will remain open and unobstructed

Safety Measures:

• Detour signage will be installed at the Beach side of the pedestrian pathway
• Flaggers will be posted along the work zone to redirect pedestrian traffic
• Work zone will be clearly marked with appropriate barriers and fencing
