Senior Director, Planning & Architecture

Lee Coyle’s professional career has spanned 30 years. Before joining JHU, he led design teams specializing in programming, planning, and design through implementation for the many building typologies in higher education, including projects for academics, scientific research, student life, recreation, and athletics. As a practicing architect, he led design teams responsible for planning, designing, and implementing nearly two million square feet of education space constructed across the United States. Today, he brings a strong knowledge base of higher education planning and design best practices to the JHU community.
