BLC Breezeway closed for power washing

On Monday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 20, power washing operations will take place at the BLC Breezeway along the south side of the MSE Library building, which will require areas in the adjacent vicinity to be closed to pedestrian traffic.

Temporary barriers will be placed around the BLC seating area and at the bottom of the marble staircase to secure the work zone and prevent pedestrian access.

Barriers will be removed and the prior construction fencing will be restored upon completion.

Paths Impacted:

• The BLC seating area will be closed during operations
• The marble staircase access to the BLC Plaza will be closed
• Pedestrians will be rerouted around the MSE Library building to access the BLC and Beach area

Safety Measures:

• Temporary barriers will be installed around the work zone and seating area
• Spotters will be positioned at key access points to direct pedestrian traffic
